Friday, 5pm. The lobby of the Hotel Rus is getting crowded. People are getting ready to go back home or continue with their trips. Casual Connect has gathered, for 3 days, almost 900 professionals of the gaming industry. Developers, publishers, designers, tech providers…The halls have heard a lot of Russian and some English.

Eastern Europe and Russia?s mobile gaming industries are clearly booming. Local developers came to Casual Connect to meet publishers (like Nevosoft, Game Insight, Alawar, G5 Entertainment…) but also to learn from others the keys to be successful when self-publishing their titles. It was also interesting to talk to many foreign companies who came to meet creative studios and to see the secrets of this market first hand.

We can?t wait to watch videos of the sessions that revolved around free-2-play, new technologies for game development and game design, cross-promotion, the Android market…

We were very excited to moderate one of the panels where FDG Entertainment, Tatem Games and Animoca shared their valuable insights on how to internally cross-promote their portfolio of apps. Thanks Philipp, Igor and Thomas! :)

And, of course, there?s the parties. Big Fish Games, G5 Entertainment and PocketGamers sponsored great parties that rounded up the conference success.

Take a look at a few of the sights from this year?s conference and the video that Absolutist presented the last day. See you next year!
